Everyday Literacy was founded in 2021 with the goal of supporting ALL stakeholders working to make an impact on children’s development and education.
Michele is an experienced education consultant who draws on her knowledge of best practices in literacy to support high-quality instruction and student achievement. She holds both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree from Columbia University in New York City. In the twenty-five years she has been in education, she has worked as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, and content developer. She led the development of a Pre-K literacy curriculum based on award-winning children’s literature in addition to a comprehensive Pre-K curriculum focused on the integration of literacy, STEM, and social-emotional learning. She has published and presented on a wide range of topics from enhancing classroom culture to supporting multilingual learners.
